my accounting professor was trying to explain that the figures used belonged to the past, aka yesterday. He then commented that he didn't understand why people liked to take photographs because at the click of the shutter, that moment instantly became the past. i used to have a part of the wall in my room pasted with a photo collage dating way back from jc, but i've since torn everything down, coincidentally a week before i heard his comments. i didn't understand why i did it, though i've been having the urge to do so for quite some time now, but now i do. because at the end, he added, "once it becomes the past, it becomes irrelevant."
right now, i can only look to the future, and hopefully find a reason to click the shutter again.
